Heads of Security Agencies in Plateau State Converges, Harps on Synergy to Overcome Security Challenges

The need for interagency collaboration to tackle the rising security threats bedeviling the Nation has again been harped by the Heads of Security Agencies in Plateau State.

This commitment was made today Thursday 15th December, 2022 during the first ever get-together Dinner organized by the Commander Operation Safe Haven who doubles as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Rukuba Plateau State, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Ali which held at the Headquarters of Operation Safe Haven in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
In his remarks, Gen. Ali said the synergy became imperative on account of the insecurity and other forms of criminal activities bedeviling the Nation.

“Of course, where there is synergy of security agencies, huge successes will be recorded. So how do we translate this so that all our Men down to the last personnel will know, so we decided that today we are going to have the first ever security agencies get-together” he disclosed.
He commended all the Heads of Security Agencies for making the event possible.

He said the main objective of the dinner is to dine together after a challenging yet an eventful year considering the successes recorded in their joint operations. He urged all the security heads to work towards sustaining the synergy, strengthen the bond of unity and love which will lead to continuous peace on the Plateau.
According to him, the successes recorded so far were made possible through the collective efforts of the security agencies in the State.
“I sincerely want to commend the tireless efforts of everyone and I urge us to endeavor to build on this strength in order to record more successes. Also, it is of paramount importance that we harness a stronger intelligence network to bridge the gap in lack of sufficient intelligence information which is crucial to our successes in operations, to apprehend criminals under any guise. This cordial and professional working relationship among us must be sustained in the overall interest of the people and the society.
We must never relent in our pursuit for a safe and secured Plateau. All machineries must be deployed to tackle emerging security threats and provide necessary assistance needed to secure lives and property of Residents even as the Year winds down” he hinted.

Other Security Heads in their separate remarks lauded the initiative and harped on the sustenance of same.
They said the spirit of oneness, unity and teamwork must be heightened to achieve the mandate of restoring peace and curbing crimes in the State and Nation at large.

The event featured cultural display by the Plateau Cultural Troops and Guests were also treated to sumptuous buffet.
