Nigeria’s top Reggae Music Icon, Vincent Nyam popularly known by his stage name “Jah Device” has again Hit the airwaves hard with his brand new single Hit Gospel Track titled “Hail Up” for the listening pleasure of his fans and lovers of Gospel Reggae within and outside the shores of Africa.
Jah Device a prolific Reggae Icon who has always raised the bar on the release of his tracks which left people wondering why his tracks would not be released more frequently. He has been able to achieve a lot and changed people’s perception about reggae music in Nigeria.
“Hail Up” can be classed as a reggae gospel anthem on a classic reggae riddim. The riddim is a rework of the late Eddie Fitzroys hit track “First Class Citizen” produced by the Musical Ambassador Trevor Elliot released in 1983.
Devices sound has resonated with music enthusiasts around the world and the hidden fact that his wife (Eunice) is instrumental to this with her sultry back up vocals on “Hail Up” and majority of his work to date just illustrates that it’s a family thing.

When contacted by our medium on what informed the track Jah Device said “The inspiration just came heavy on me to Hail the true name of Christ. The ancient Phoenicia nomenclature of Christ. So the main purpose and message also is to proclaim his true name in these end times”.
