Christians Charged to Make God Their Priority as Plateau State Government House Chapel is Rededicated

Christians in Plateau State have been charged make God their priority and ensure that God is able to find habitation in their hearts.

This call was made by Bro Gbile Akanni who was the Guest Preacher at the reopening, rededication and commissioning of the Plateau State Government House Chapel of Grace and Chaplain on Sunday 3rd March, 2024.
While taking his Bible Reading from Psalm 132 Verse 1 to 18 and Psalm 133 Verse 1 to 3, Bro Akanni disclosed that God wants to find habitation in the hearts of the Citizens of Plateau State in order to make His plan actualized.
He hinted that God must be prioritised if progress is to be achieved.
He urged the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, his Appointees and the Citizens of the State to make their hearts habitable for God.

Earlier in his remarks the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang said the day is important and significant in the life of the State on account of what God is set to do in the State.
He said “God has proposed to do glorious and excellent things on the Plateau. It is time to move Plateau State to the place of Glory and God’s purpose. Plateau State is designated by God as a Platform for the actualization of His plan for Nigeria”
While appreciating former Governor Joshua Dariye for the idea of building the Chapel, he admonished the Citizens of the State to eschew bitterness, other unhealthy tendencies and join hands to work towards the progress of the State. He recognized and appreciated the labour of past Leaders of the State.

In his words “I want to bequeath a more united Plateau State after my tenure”

In his remarks, Rev. Dr. Gideon Para-Mallam declared that the Chapel would be a place of prayer, where new generation of leaders would be mentored and raised.
He said the heartbeat of the Governor of Plateau State is focused on accountability and integrity in governance as well as excellence in all aspects of governance and Ministry.

Former Governor Jonah David Jang CON, Reverend Father Polycarp Lubo the Plateau State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and others in their Goodwill messages appreciated the event and lean their voices to the need for Christians to Rededicate themselves to serving God.
The lauded Governor Mutfwang for his developmental strides so far and his passion to achieve a united and prosperous Plateau.

Special prayer for Plateau State and the Nation was jointly offered by Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo, Rev. Dunka Gomwalk and Prophet Isa El-Buba.
The consecration and commissioning of the New Chaplain was officiated by Rev. Dr. Panya Baba President Evangelical Church Winning All and National Vice President of CAN.
Special rededication prayer was led by Most Rev. Matthew Ishya Audu and Rt. Rev. Dr. Nkechi Nwosu.

The Catholic Church Choir, Anglican Church Choir, Redeemed Christian Church of God Choir Praise Team and Barr. Ezra Jinang thrilled the congregation with their song ministrations.

The event was well attended by Religious Leaders, Top Government Functionaries, Government Appointees, Traditional Rulers led by Gbong Gwom Jos His Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba CFR, illustrious Sons and Daughters of the State.
