On behalf of the Prayer Force Network, the John Pofi foundation, my family and associates, I wish to congratulate the entire Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of this obligatory task.

It is my sincere prayer that the Almighty God will accept your act of worship and bless you individually, as families and as a nation.

I know that you have prayed for the peace and unity of this bedeviled nation, but I will urge you to do more even after the holy month of Ramadan.

I also wish to appeal to the Ummah to continue to live lives of sacrifice, love, forgiveness and good neighborliness in the days to come.

These are the ingredients that are required now more than ever before for Nigeria to stabilise.

As you go about the celebration, be guided by the cardinal lessons of Ramadan which include but not limited to sacrifice and unity.

Nigeria is at cross roads and what it needs now is purposeful unity that will chart a new course for the nation.
