The news of the death of your father Late Lt. Gen. Joshua Dogoyaro came to me with a profound shock and sadness. His demise is not only a great loss to his immediate family, but the entire people of PLATEAU state and the nation considering his immense contributions to the growth and development of the country.

We shall continue to remember with pride his service to the people of PLATEAU and Nigeria at large, retired gallant Lt. General in the military and veteran security expert.

He has made significant impact in the governance of the state and also serve his immediate family and community with passion and dignity where he left behind enviable records of hard work, patience and selfless service.

While his departure create a huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill, we are consoled by his legacies of honour while in active service then and even when he retired.

May the Almighty God the giver of life rest his soul and comfort the entire family, Taroh Nation, PLATEAU and Nigeria.
