2021 Workers’ Day: Plateau Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Describes Nigerian Workers as Engine Room of Nation Building

As Nigerian Workers celebrate May 1st, a Day set aside Nationally to commemorate Workers’ Day, the Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Ph.D has lauded the resilience, patriotism, hard work and commitment of workers to the Nation.

In a felicitation message to the workers, the Federal Lawmaker describes the workers as the engine room of Nation building considering their immense contributions to National peace, unity, prosperity and development in the face of the numerous daunting challenges they encounter.

“Nigerian workers have continued to weather the storm putting their capabilities and capacity towards sustainable economic growth and development” he said.

Dr. Mwadkwon charged workers not to relent in contributing their best in order to achieve a more united, peaceful, safer, secured and prosperous Nation.

He also urged the workers to remain optimistic, more security conscious and not give up owing to the challenges bedevilling the Nation.

He admonished them to use the day’s celebration to pray for the Nation especially the restoration of peace, unity and prosperity.

He called for greater attentions through improved welfare packages to workers in Nigeria.

He wished them a hitch free celebration.
