Edward was born on the 21st of November,1965 in Kuru, Jos South LGA of Plateau State. His Parents were Da P D
Pwajok, KSM and Ngwo Veronica Kangyang Pwajok all of blessed memory.
His Parents enrolled him in Kindergarten in vom then Bishop’s school in Jos. He was among the pioneer pupils of Fatima Private School , Jos in 1971. At a time pupils complete primary school education in grade7, the precocious Edward passed out in class 5 and went to St Joseph’s college Vom . He later transferred to GSS Kuru . He was the best arts graduating student of the school in 1982. . He also together with his colleague, Nasiru Mohammed emerged the champions of the State’s schools quiz competition and represented Plateau state in the National schools quiz competition in Maiduguri.
He read Law in the University of Jos and was called to the Bar in 1994 after undergoing training in the Law School, Lagos. He did his NYSC in Kaduna.
Edward immediately commenced active Legal practice. He did his tutelage with Oumar Shittien & co before establishing his own Law firm.
He served as the longest- serving Attorney- General from January 2007-2014. He had many landmark achievements as the Attorney General including drafting many Bills which became Laws like the Operation Rainbow Act and employment of 50 Lawyers in the Ministry of Justice.
While serving as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, he served in more than 20 committees including: The State Executive Council , State Security Council , State Information management committee , Economic advisory council, State Tenders Board ,State Judicial service Commission , Greater Jos master plan committee,
Body of Benchers , Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, Council of Legal Education , State Boundaries Commission among others.
He has been a member of the Nigerian Bar association, international Bar Association.
A consummate Politician , he started partisan politics, at a young age in 1982 when he joined the youth wing of the NPP . After the military coup, he participated actively in the Political transition programs of Generals Babangida and Abacha .
