The entire membership of the Coalition of Obedients for Mutfwang in Plateau State congratulates and felicitates with you on the occasion of your birthday, Amb. Bitrus Yerima. As you mark this special day, we pray to God Almighty to continue to uphold and increase you in wisdom to deliver to the latter all that you have in store for the betterment of humanity and His Kingdom.
Leaders, they say, are either born or made, but we have seen both in you considering your leadership prowess, doggedness, resilience, and competence in every capacity you have served or are still serving in.
A sneak peek into your scorecards in the following capacities speaks volumes of your leadership qualities:
- National President, Gospel Advancement Leadership Initiative (GALI).
- National Head of Operations, Directorate of Intervention, Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organization in the 2023 General Election.
- National Director of Security, Christian Youth Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
- National Standing Committee Chairman for Mobilization and Contacts, YOWICAN National.
- Coordinator, Coalition of Obedients Support Groups for Mutfwang/Piyo Plateau Project, 2023.
Reminiscing about your outstanding leadership and influence during the last Gubernatorial elections in Plateau State, it unraveled a dogged leader and a grassroots mobilizer who, within a few days of the elections, mobilized the Obidients support groups across the 17 Local Government Areas for an endorsement rally and one of the powerful press conferences in Jos 72 hours before the elections. This saw the Obidients massively working and voting for the “Time is now” Leader, whom they believed in to emerge victorious.
It is on this premise that we wish to use this opportunity to reaffirm our total support and loyalty to the Executive Governor of Plateau State. Indeed, the “Time is now,” and the Plateau of our dream is becoming a reality for the common good. His Excellency Governor Caleb Mutfwang is proving his critics wrong by transforming the state within the shortest time he has been in office, to the delight of all well-meaning citizens and friends of the State.
We are all witnesses to the massive infrastructural development, especially in the City of Jos, inclusive governance, improvement in security/drastic measures to safeguard the lives and property of the citizens, urban renewal/urban environmental management through GMDB and PEPSA, rural planning and development, responsible transportation and planning, pension reforms, deliberate actions to reposition agriculture with efforts to resuscitate the Moribund ASTC, and procurement/distribution of fertilizer to farmers, among others. Not forgetting the government’s resolve to ensure quality healthcare delivery to the good people of Plateau State. We commend the Governor’s appointment of Pharm. Kim Jerry Bot to Head the Drug and Medical Commodity Management Agency, considering his professionalism coupled with his zeal and passion for public health and quality drug administration over the years. We also recognize and appreciate your excellency’s people-oriented policies, and we are sure Plateau is in safe hands and on the path of monumental growth and progress under your visionary leadership.
As we pledge our unalloyed support and loyalty to the “Time is now” Leader and his administration, we want to further assure His Excellency that we are ever ready to contribute our quota in any capacity when given the opportunity or called upon for the good of the state. We have quite a good number of capable hands and brains spread across the 17 Local Government Areas who are ardent supporters and promoters of the “Time is now” policies and quality leadership, ready to bring to the table what they have.
Once again, we wish our capable leader, Amb. Bitrus Yerima, the happiest birthday and pray for many more years of God’s grace and blessings.
Dung Iliya Daniel
Secretary-General,
Coalition of Obedients for Mutfwang/Piyo – Plateau Project.
