Senator Dariye Congratulates Sen. Abdullahi Adamu for Establishing Phoenix University, Lauds His Passion for Education

Former Governor of Plateau State and Senator Plateau Central Senatorial District during the 7th and 8th Senate, Chief Joshua Dariye has commended his former Colleague, His Excellency Senator Abdullahi Adamu (Sarkin Yakin Keffi), the former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Nasarawa West from 2011-2022 and the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for establishing of Phoenix University Agwada Nasarawa State and the full commencement of academic activities of the institution.

Senator Dariye hinted that the establishment of the University, which just had its first Matriculation is a testimony of the high premium Sen. Abdullahi Adamu placed on education and human capital development.

He said the Institution will reduce illiteracy significantly, train and equip Students with the needed skills, technical know-how and mould their character to contribute to Nation building.

“The establishment of Phoenix University Agwada Nasarawa State by the former colleague is well-conceived and has the propensity of adding value to the Nation and the World at large. Having worked closely with Senator Abdullahi Adamu as Governors, later as Senators and Members of our great Party, I can attest to his passion for excellence and his drive for quality education. He has left a legacy that will be cherished and remembered by unborn generation. This investment is huge and it will impact lives positively” he said.

Sen. Dariye further stated that the Institution will shape and improve lives and transform humanity.

While congratulating the newly matriculated Students of the Institution, Sen. Dariye wish them the very best and urged the Staff to ensure they mentor and equip the Students with the necessary skills experience and inculcate sound moral values needed to improve the Society.
