Sen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni, the Senator representing Plateau Southern Zone has won the Plateau State PDP Governorship Primaries conducted Sunday 30th September, 2018.
Results were announced in the early hours of Monday 1st October, 2018.
A total of 13 Aspirants participated in the Gubernatorial Primaries.
Total Delegates for the Election were 2,097 and breakdowns according to Local Government Areas are as follows:

Announcing the result to the public, Returning Officer of the Electoral Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Umar declared Sen. J. T. Useni winner having scored the highest votes in the just concluded Primaries
Sen. J. T. Useni is set to slug it out with the incumbent Governor of the State who emerged unopposed in his party and Candidates from other Political Parties.
Accreditation held at Treasure Inn while the Election took place at Langfield Leisure Park Little Rayfield Jos, Plateau State under the supervision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
