The  university of jos community since the broke out of the 2001 crises have continued to loose the lives of students and staff to the hostile environments  around the campus, despite the series of plead by the management and students, plateau state ministery of lands and survey have been accused of selling lands around the campus which in itself further expose the campus to danger in case of any beach of peace

The speaker of the SUG House of parliament speaking to viewpointNigeria confirm the scenario and also plead that the security of the university should be reconsider. the treasurer of the SUG also explain that this Friday Along Bauchi park while going to the hostel a man approach her, trying to kill her but she narrowly escaped .
