The Senator Plateau North, Barr. Dr. I. D. Gyang has received an Award of Excellence from the Nigerian University Accounting Students’ Association University of Jos Chapter for his outstanding political performance and capacity building/Youth empowerment in Plateau State.

The outgoing President of the Association, Cmr. Gwom Titus described Senator I. D. Gyang as a visionary Leader who is providing credible representation and sterling performance.

He commended and appreciated for the award of scholarship to over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate Students, saying it is a strategic human capital development.

He also congratulated the Senator on his victory at the polls and his successful inauguration wishing him the best and God’s divine ability to impact humanity and the society positively.

Sen. I. D. Gyang appreciated the students for finding him worthy for the award and said he is committed to human capital development through his well planned empowerment agenda.

Sen. Gyang urged the Students to take their studies seriously, discard attitudes capable of disrupting their greatness by living godly and responsible lifestyle.
Sen. Gyang said education is the key to societal greatness.

He promised to carry the youth along in his engagements and support them where necessary saying the youth are catalysts to national unity, progress, growth and development.

He said no serious nation will jettison abilities of the youth and expect to progress.
