Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap Marks One Year of Transformative Leadership as Plateau State Commissioner for Information and Communication

The Plateau State Ministry of Information and Communication has acknowledged the outstanding leadership and governance provided by its Commissioner, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, since she assumed office one year ago.

In an official statement, Permanent Secretary Nanman Jonah Kparbong praised the Commissioner, highlighting her notable achievements.

He noted that the Executive Governor, Barr. Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang, appointed her to revitalize the state’s information machinery.

According to him, “The Commissioner’s appointment demonstrated the governor’s confidence in her abilities.”

He further stated that the Honourable Commissioner has effectively utilized her time and talent to transform the ministry’s operations, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and good governance. Since assuming office, she has enhanced staff capacity, maintained key activities, and established the Information Centre.

The Commissioner also spearheaded efforts to revive the ministry’s website and embarked on a media tour to inspect projects.

Her efforts have bolstered government communication, transparency, and citizen engagement.

The ministry’s management and staff commend the Honourable Commissioner for her efforts to promote a positive image for Plateau State.
