Rt. Hon. George Daika Guber Campaign Storms Kanam, Wase, Langtang North&South,Receives Tremendous Endorsements
The Gubernatorial ambition of the former Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly and Member Federal House of Representatives Shendam/Qua’anpan/Mikang Federal Constituency received major endorsements today during the meet-the-delegates/stakeholders tour in Kanam, Wase, Langtang North and Langtang South LGAs of Plateau State.
The day two of the tour witnessed and recorded major boost in the aspiration of the Gubernatorial Hopeful who is contesting under the Platform of the PDP.
In Kanam LGA, the campaign team were received 3km to the Venue of the event.
The team visited the Palace of the Emir of Kanam where they received royal blessings and encouragement. Representative of the Emir prayed for the aspirant and wished him luck.
The Party Executives who doubles as statutory delegates said they are happy and excited to receive a great aspirant and potential Governor of Plateau State.
In Wase LGA, the team went to receive royal blessings at the Emir’s Palace. The Emir who was represented by the Walin Wase warmly received the team, prayed for the aspirant and admonished him to continue with peaceful campaigns.
The Party Executives assured Rt. Hon. Daika of their electoral supports.
In Langtang South, Rt. Hon. George Daika was endorsed by the Local Chairman and was unanimously approved by the Statutory delegates.
In North the team got wonderful reception by the Executives who said Rt. Hon. George Daika remains one of the best aspirants who deserve their supports. They pledged their loyalty to him saying he left indelible footprints when he served as Speaker PLHA and House of Representatives Member.
They said Rt Hon George Daika is like the Emancipator Late Baba Solomon Lar and Late Sen. Silas Janfa who has paid his dues to the Party and should be supported. They said they have aspirants from the Local government area but Rt. Hon. Daika stands out to be the best.
Prof. Sam Godongs the Director General of the campaign organisation described the aspirant as a humble and visionary leader who will bring even development, transform the State and provide quality leadership.
The Governorship Aspirant in his separate remarks at the various Local Government Areas said with the poor leadership being experienced in the State, it has become expedient to have a credible, competent and courageous leader who will take the State out of its infrastructural deficit, unemployment, insecurity and disunity confronting her.
He said he would work towards restoring peace, uniting all the inhabitants of the State and bring massive infrastructural development to the State.
He said the State today lacks an accountable and transparent leader hence the collapse in governance.
He said he will bring back the lost glory of the State and ensure people of proven integrity are brought in governance to entrench good governance.
Rt. Hon. Daika said If elected, he would embrace all, unite the people and carry all along irrespective of ethnic, tribal, religious and political inclinations.
With God on my side, I will ensure there is peaceful coexistence and safer State which will in turn attract investors to the State, businesses to thrive, reduce unemployment, increase its Internally generated revenues and make the State independent of the Federal Government, he posited.
Plateau State needs a man of integrity who will wipe the tears of the people and enhance their welfare. Someone with empathy, he said.
I will focus on human&infrastructural development, Agricultural Development and feasible security if elected, he said.
He concluded that he is ready to work with whoever emerges as flagbearer as he is not aspiring for parochial interest but the collective interest of the State.
He charged the delegates to concentrate on electing people of integrity at all levels.
I want you to pray for me to emerge victorious, pray for PDP, Plateau State and Nigeria so we can take the State and Country out of the present quagmire and leadership failure obtainable.
