Rep. Bagos mourns Sen Ignatius Longjan’s death

Member, representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, Rep. Dachung Bagos has expressed sadness over the demise of Senator representing Plateau South senatorial zone in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Sen Ignatius D. Longjan. The sad event took place today, Monday 10th February, 2020 at Turkish Hospital Abuja where he was receiving medical attention.

Until his demise, Sen. Ignatius Datong Longjan was a former deputy Governor of Plateau State and had served the state and country in various capacities faithfully. He was also a gubernatorial aspirant in the PDP for the 2015 general elections where he was admired by supporters who nicked named him, “the loyal deputy”.

Rep. Bagos in a statement while on condolence visit to the family, described him as a father, as a humble leader, and a committed Christian, stating that he and indeed the people of his constituency, are truly grieved by the departure of the Senator.

“Your legacies and exemplary leadership was a source of inspiration to the younger generation of leaders”.

“We’re consoled, as Christians, in the hope that we’d see you again in glory. Continue to rest at the blossom of our Lord Jesus Christ.” said the Member.
