2020 International youth Day

The theme of International Youth Day 2020, Youth Engagement for Global Action is apt as it seeks to mobilize the vast energies and capabilities of young people to impact society.
As an advocate of youth participation in governance and leadership, I will encourage the Nigerian youth to think out of the box and collectively engage in doing what works and not thinking of what will work , let’s think globally and act locally, deploying our energies in propelling our societies forwards using international best practices of good governance.
I use this occasion to appreciate the Federal Government’s Youth Investment Fund (YIF) policy. It is an opportunity for all Nigerian youths to access funds that will hopefully unleash their potentials in contributing to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy and State.
As we mark this year’s International Youth Day, let’s all stay committed to ensuring that the next generation will be an action generation!
