Qua’an-Pan LGC Embarks on Projects Execution, Charges Contractors on Standard

The Council Chairman of Qua’an-Pan Local Government Council of Plateau State, Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, has awarded contracts for execution of some projects within the Local Government.

The contracts include the Renovation and Remodeling of the Old Secretariat Complex Ba’ap, awarded to Elite-Pan Nig. Ltd.; the Construction of Skills Acquisition Center Doemak to be handled by Shelter Contractors Nig. Ltd.; the Construction of Examination Hall in Kwa to Omags Engineering Ltd. and the Construction of Turniang Road Bridge, awarded to Dagwiling Global Ventures Ltd.

Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a also awarded the contract for the Consultation of the Construction of Turniang Road Bridge to Multi-Crustals Nig. Ltd.; reawarded the contract for the Completion of the Police Station in Kwalla to Sonshak Global Ventures Ltd., while Asset Revaluation to Daniel Datong & Co., as Banamai-Dadama Consults is to handle Revenue Revitalization.

The Chairman, had during the signing and presentation of letters to the 8 Contractors in his office at the Secretariat, charged them to work according to specification and standard.

Hon. Da’a stated that there are many other projects lined up for execution, as captured in the 2023 Budget, adding that the Administration started with the second phase of the Free Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Services, which ended on the 5th of February, 2023, where thousands of people benefited.

He disclosed that most of the contractors are indigenous, and charged them to engage citizens domiciled within the communities.

The Chairman expressed joy that the contractors went through due process, adding that they scaled through the bidding process because of their track records.

While congratulating the contractors, Hon. Da’a stated that it will be incumbent on some of them who are not APC party faithful to support Plateau and Qua’an-Pan under the party in government, especially during the forthcoming general elections.

Responding on behalf of the benefiting contractors, Arc. Thomas Gabriel of Elite-Pan Nig. Ltd., thanked the Council for finding them worthy to execute the numerous projects for the benefit of the good people of Qua’an-Pan LGA.

Arc. Gabriel promised to keep to specification and standard, adding that their reputations are at stake if they failed to meet up with the standards they undertook to execute.

The brief but important event was witnessed by the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Helen Henniet Wapmuk, the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Gideon Godenaan Dashe, Supervisory Councilors, Directors and political supporters, among other personalities.
