Governor Simon Bako Lalong was in a total state of confusion and desperation in Shendam on Saturday, 18th February, 2023 when he discovered that even his Commissioners, advisers,aides,APC State Exco and APC supporters abandoned the Plateau South APC Governorship Rally in Shendam,his home LGA Headquarters.
It was also observed that Lalong out of confusion went to church twice on Saturday 18th February, 2023,first to seek for forgiveness and later for thanksgiving in an empty church.
It was also observed that buses were made available to go into town in search of people to fill the church.
Gagdi was very angry at the empty rally and rebuked the Governor of not being in charge of his appointees and the APC in the state.
You will recall the recent gale of decamping from the APC to other political parties in Plateau State. The biggest blow was the Shendam LGA APC Chairman, Secretary and Youth Leader who moved from the APC to the Labour Party in Plateau State.
Pundits believe that these are pointers of the defeat of the APC in the February 25th, 2023 Presidential and National Assembly Elections by the LP.
