Plateau Our Heritage Revival Initiative (POHri) has welcomed and lauded the resounding victory recorded by the immediate past Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Sen. Jonah David Jang CON who was cleared of the 17 charges instituted against him by the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC today in a judgment presided over by Justice Christy Dabup.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Hon. Alex Kwapnoe and Secretary, Friday Bako POHri applauded the Judiciary for the judgment and commended Sen. Jonah Jang for his resilience and keeping faith alive all through his travails.

“We identify and rejoice with you for the resounding victory knowing fully well your passion and interest in the unity and development of not just Plateau State but the Nation at large.
We believe this judgment is an attestation that you served the State diligently as your track records are visible and speaks volume.

“As an elder Statesman and visionary Leader, many States have witnessed your purposeful and exceptional leadership which birthed massive infrastructural developments across the length and breadth of the State and other States you served as Military Governor in the past.

“You have defended and projected the State and Middle belt with all your heart. We are proud of that singular act.
It is our sincere prayer that God will continue to bless you for the herculean task of providing credible leadership through advisory role for the unity, peace and prosperity of state and Country.

“We celebrate your victory and wish you the very best all the days of your life” the group said.
