Rev. Pam commended the Association for assisting the government in building a strong educational system in the country, according to him, “our educational system would have crumbled, if not for the private schools”.
He informed that education is the bedrock of any society and the development of any nation can only be achieved when the children are being impacted on by schools. In his words, “Nigeria would have been a minus without Education”.

The NCPC boss intimated that part of the problems bedeviling us as a nation is lack of Education and Knowledge which has brought a lot of crisis in Nigeria, ‘Having no Education is like a disease”, he said.
He urged the Association to ensure that their teachers are well trained so as to be able to impact the right knowledge on the children. In his words, “untrained teachers will impact low quality education on children”.
Earlier, the National President of the Association of Private School Owners of Nigeria APSON, Bishop Dr. Godly Opukeme , in his remarks said, “they were in the Commission to fraternize with the Executive Secretary and to deliberate on how to introduce the Summer pilgrimage package for its students, this will help to unite and draw family members closer to God during the summer holidays.”
Bishop Opukeme explained that morality is eluding our youths and they are indulging in different social vices. According to him, “there is need for owners of schools to be part of this spiritual exercise so as to be better equipped”.

He further explained that the supposed package for owners of school would afford them the opportunity to acquire new experiences that would enable them to relate with biblical and spiritual occurrences as well as strengthen their faith with Christ for the advancement of Nigerian Children.
