Plateau North Senate Rerun Election: Sen. Simon Mwadkwon Optimistic of Resounding Victory

Senator Simon Mwadkwon PhD has expressed optimism in the ability of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge victorious again in the forthcoming fresh elections declared by the Appeal Court for Plateau North Senatorial Zone and Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency.
The Lawmaker made this known to a mammoth crowd who received the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang shortly after his arrival from an official visit.
He disclosed that the PDP is ever ready for the fresh elections to be conducted for the mentioned electoral areas.
He appreciated the People of Plateau North for massively voting the PDP and making sure that they delivered the Senator, all three Members of the House of Representatives of the Zone and Six (6) of the 8 Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly from the Zone which is an indication that the zone is the pillar of the PDP.
He admonished the citizens to remain calm and peaceful and ensure no blood is shed following the decision of the Appeal Court which ordered for fresh election to be conducted with all Political Parties to participate. He harped on the need for unity for the progress of the State and said the people have seen a Leader in Gov. Mutfwang on account of his sterling leadership.

He admonished the people to pray against those who don’t mean well for the State.
“A real Politician Win Election by votes not by Proxy. Even President Tinubu and all Nigerians are aware that Gov. Caleb Mutfwang and other PDP serving Representatives won the 2023 General Elections overwhelmingly. The Citizens of Plateau State spoke loud in favour of the PDP. PDP is not only on the ballot, PDP is the ballot” the Senator said.
He lauded the Governor for his effort to attract development to the State.

Governor Mutfwang in his address appreciated the Mammoth crowd who came out to welcome him for the show of love and the support given to his administration in the State.
He said he travelled out of the Country to attract global attention to the State and hinted that very soon we will begin to reap the dividends.
He charged the People to remain united and resist those whose stock-in-trade is to fuel crisis. He said is committed to provide good governance and carry all along irrespective of their ethnic, religious and political inclinations.

In their separate remarks, the State Chairman of the PDP Hon. Chris Hassan, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Moses Sule and Elder Sunday Abdul lauded the support being given to the present administration by the Citizens of the State and said the mandate freely given to the PDP in the State at all levels remain intact. They all drummed support for the present administration to succeed.
They expressed satisfaction with the exceptional leadership demonstrated by Gov. Mutfwang which they said has led to increased popularity and acceptability of the present administration.

They called on the Citizens to continue to pray for the State and the leadership against external forces who are bent on destroying the State.
