As civil servants in Plateau State fully return to work after the Christmas and New Year festivities, State Head of Service, Mr. Stephen Pam Gadong has assured them of sustained welfare and reward for hard work.
The Head of Service in a statement welcoming workers back from the holidays; assured that promotions will be done as at when due, while workers’ salaries will be paid without let or hindrance.
Mr. Stephen Pam Gadong made it clear that Plateau State Governor Barr, Caleb Mutfwang will continue to create the enabling environment for civil servants to excel. He said part of this is the provision of working tools and Renovation of the J.D Gomwalk Secretariat.
As engine room of government, the Head of Service encourage civil servants to prepare for the task ahead and ensure that the 2026 budget of Governor Mutfwang tagged “Budget of Consolidation and Sustainability, 2.0” is implemented to the letter.
He said “You must therefore ensure that you report to work on time and close at the appropriate time. Any work that requires to be done should not be left for the next day. Your diligence and efficiency is what will drive “The Time Is Now” administration’s success”.
The Plateau State Head of Service, Mr. Stephen Pam Gadong thanked organised labour and the entire workforce in the state for previous support and cooperation in the past, hoping for better synergy this year and in the years to come.
