Plateau Commissioner Tamwakat Weli calls on citizens to support APC at LGA polls

Commissioner of Finance in Plateau State Hon Tamwakat Weli,  yesterday called on citizens of the state to support the All progressive Congress in the forthcoming local government election in the state .

She also called on party members to conduct themselves orderly during the forthcoming local government elections in the state. 

She made this known during a stakeholders meeting of APC members in Kanke local government area of the state .

Speaking at the occasion, Weli said” this is a meeting to appraise our strengths and challenges as we prepare for the upcoming local government elections.

I am happy to to report that significant changes and appreciable progress have been made in transforming our state and our communities as evident in the laudable ongoing and completed inherited projects across the state and Local government areas  .

I must emphasize that this stakeholders meeting is over due, but I am glad that this is happening now, and more so this is because we are on the threshold of conducting the first local government elections under the Simon Lalong Rescue Administration to usher in a democratically  elected officials for the first tier of government, which is the local government Council .

I call on all to support  our candidate in the person of wing commander Emmanuel Lar rtd, 

If we are to fulfill the mission of the Rescue administration  ,we must deliver the party at the forthcoming local government election, as all hands must be on deck irrespective of who you supported during the primary election, I appeal and plead let us put our individual difference, personal interest aside and allow the interest and allow the Interest of the party and our people take center stage in our Political  affairs and conduct  ,let us embrace peace, love for one another, unite and dialogue for the growth and development of the party and the local government. 

Our Correspondent reports that Mrs Weli also received about 500  decampees to the party from other Political parties 

She said I welcome our brothers and sisters who until recent had a different Political party affiliation, they have now seen the need to join and share in the rescue mission vision for the betterment of our people and the development of our local government and state. 

Our responsibility now is to is to work for the success of our party to enthrone democracy and development of Kanke and Plateau 

She also urged them to continue to support the Lalong led administration at all times, because the governor  is committed to bettering the lives of citizens of the state.
