PKK 2023: “Trust Me With Your Mandate and I Will Justify it With Exceptional Representation” – Ziphion Chrysanthus

As the 2023 General Elections draw closer and political activities get hotter, a Philanthropist, Mr. Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus of Chip Federal Ward Pankshin LGA, Plateau State has commenced move to clinch the House of Representatives Ticket for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency at the Primaries that will take place next year, 2022 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ziphion Chrysanthus is also leaving no stone unturned to ensure his ambition come to reality in the 2023 general election to represent the PKK Federal Constituency, Plateau State as it is fondly called.
The move he started with an official declaration of interest to contest for the position on Sunday 8th August, 2021 at the PDP Office Chip Federal Ward Pankshin LGA which was attended by critical stakeholders of the party and well wishers across the Federal Constituency, the State, Nation and some foreign business partners.

During his official declaration, Ziphion called on the people to trust him with their mandate, assuring not to disappoint them but to justify same with exceptional representation and making the yearnings and aspirations of the people his topmost priority.

He lauded the people for coming out enmass to witness his official declaration which he said is an attestation that they believe in the destiny of the Federal Constituency and his person.
He hinted that moving the Federal Constituency should be a collective vision and called on the people to support his vision to take it to enviable height.

He posited that the Federal Constituency needs to move forward and assume a position of prosperity.

“Over time, the news of my ambition to run for Reps PKK in 2023 have flickered the media space. This may not be news to many of you. The reality is that, we have spent an appreciable number of time, energy and resources to consult on a massive scale. I was able to consult family and friends. We engaged the youths, women, elders, political and religious leaders across Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam and the state by extension. It is really fascinating to announce to you that we have received an overwhelming nod to continue this journey.

“In the light of this great reality and in the spirit of our collective struggle, I Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus standing here today with a thankful heart and a humble spirit, wish to officially declare my interest to run for the position of House of Representatives (Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, PKK Federal Constituency) in 2023 under the Platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Literally, our slogan will be “FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME” AND ” HASKE” Literally meaning light or brightness. We carefully chose these slogans because of our abiding faith and commitment to do what we can do positively today in the spirit of tomorrow’s successes. Declaring my interest in my immediate constituency and ward is strategic and germane because “charity starts at home.” And of course, my people are the backbone of my political aspirations.”

“I have taken my time to evaluate and study the nature of our challenges as a people. PKK is a constituency replete with enormous potentials but not utilized to the latter. That’s not enough. There is no room for complaints, groaning and mourning”

The forerunner reeled out some of his achievements to the people which include provision of portable water through the construction of boreholes to address the acute water shortage in the area, purchase of generator set, providing gainful employment to youths and empowering others.

Campaign DG to the Aspirant, Mr. Rotgak Kassam applauded the people for the support so far and for believing in the Aspirant who will attract infrastructural development to the Federal Constituency, empower the people and be a true representative.

The PDP Chairman Pankshin LGA, Hon. Bala Dalen commended the impact made by the Aspirant and said if elected he will put the Federal Constituency to the path of prosperity.

Chip Federal Ward PDP Chairman, Mr. Abel expressed joy over the aspiration and said the PDP is glad to have credible persons contesting under it which will make it regaining power much easier in future elections.

The event featured the commissioning of the Federal Ward Party Office by the PDP Chairman Kanke LGA, Hon. Godwin Gotus who described the Aspirant as a worthy Son and Ambassador of the people.
The Office was renovated and the rent paid for by the Aspirant.
