The Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District has likened the non inclusion of the Peoples Democratic Party in the local government elections to Gad’s episode in the book of Genesis 49:19-“Gad, a troop shall overcome him; but he shall overcome at the last.”

The Senator said in a press statement signed by Musa Ibrahim Ashoms, Special Assistant on Media and Protocol to
Senator I. D. Gyang, Esq, said like Gad, PDP and democracy on the Plateau shall overcome and prevail in the journey towards 2023 as we pursue to overtake and recover from this painful setback of exclusion from the LG elections.

He calls on party faithfuls and all lovers of democracy to be calm, peaceful and keep hope alive in the journey ahead.
