NCPC Boss Urges the Youths to take Nigeria as their own.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission Rev Yakubu Pam has urged the Youths to take Nigeria as their own.He made the disclosure this Sunday at the National Christian Centre, Abuja during the annual Berom Community Association in Abuja, tagged” Wusal Berom Abuja 2020.

The NCPC helmsman who was the Guest Preacher at the event further urged the youths to return to the right track as the Biblical prodigal son to the betterment of our nation.

In the words of the NCPC boss,” the youths have made a mistake and the elders have made a mistake too, we have to be more determined to build a great country, especially with what happened during the recent EndSARS protest”.

He explained that we had all learnt our lessons, but what we need to do would be to sit down and seek a common path for the development of our nascent democracy.

Rev Pam affirmed that he is proud of the Youths because they had shown that they are determined.

According to him,” all they need to do is to channel their energy for the progress of the nation”.

He called on both Christians and Muslims to learn to live in peace.

He equally spoke on the need to encourage government to stand on the path of justice. According to him,”where there is peace , there is Justice”

The NCPC boss who spoke on the topic,” you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” which was read from the book of John Chapter 8 verses 31 and 32.

The Guest Preacher stated emphatically that what the Lord emphasized in the Bible lesson is relationship.

According to him,” we are born not to be slaves, but sons of God; we have to participate in building our nation”.

He stressed the need to build relationships with other ethnic nationalities.His words,” we must put our hands together to build a great nation and move Nigeria forward”.

Tha NCPC boss posited that the Berom people cannot survive on their own without relating with others.

He stressed that the Berom people by the special grace of God would continue to grow in leaps and bounds.
He admonished the youths to be circumspect and should never be discouraged.

High profile dignitaries who graced the occasion were His Royal Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, Gbong Gwom Jos, the Executive Secretary TETFUND, Prof. Suleiman Bogoro, Sen. I .D Gyang, Sen.Philip Aduda and other illustrious sons, daughters and friends of Plateau State.
