Miskoom Larry Peters Bawa Commends Plateau Govt. Efforts Toward Ensuring Selection of Long Kwo after Over 33 Years Vacancy

One of the top Contestants to the 33 Year Old vacant stool of the Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom in Qua’an-Pan LGA, Miskoom Larry Peters Bawa has commended the Plateau State Government for facilitating the processes toward the selection of a new Long Kwo.

The contestant, who praised Governor Simon Bako Lalong for the bold initiative to see that all vacant traditional stools in the State are occupied, appealed to the Princes of Kwo Chiefdom to put aside their differences and allow for a peaceful selection and subsequent installation of a new Long.

“We should bury our differences and allow for a peaceful selection. We should accept and support whoever emerges as the new Long Kwo”, Miskoom Larry Peters Bawa declared, adding that for Kwo Chiefdom to continue to remain without a chief does not speak well of the Kwo people.
