Governor Lalong while addressing members of the party at a Zonal Meeting in Shendam preparatory to the Local Government Congresses scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, said the party must resist any attempt by political interests and criminals to hijack the process.

He reminded the members that the path of consensus has been recommended as the best way to avoid rancor in the scheduled congresses. He advised the members to exercise patience and put aside personal ambitions for the greater good of the party and its victory
