The Concerned State Executive Committee members of the APC in Plateau State have accused the party’s state chairman, Letep Dabang, of monopolising the party.

The members also accused Dabang of allegedly misusing the N75 million contract awarded to the party by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

In a letter written to Governor Simon Bako Lalong of the state, jointly signed by the APC’s state secretary, Alhaji Musa Saty, publicity secretary, Chindo F. Fahat and 16 others, the officials alleged that all appointments in the party were done singlehandedly by Dabang; without consulting the State Working Committee (SWC) or the State Executive Committee (SEC) of the party. The letter also stated that the party chair had allegedly personalized all activities of the party at the state level that were supposed to be carried out by the officers concerned.

The embattled chairman did not pick several calls, neither did he respond to a text message when our reporter tried to reach out to him.
