Late Gwom Lwa, HRH Da Bwede Dangyang Tyop, Age 93 to be Buried Thursday

The burial of the Gwom Lwa Bachi District of Riyom LGA, Plateau State whose glorious exit occurred on 6th April, 2021at the age of 93 is being slated for Thursday 22nd April, 2021.

The Royal Father served as Gwom Lwa for 46 Years after taking over from his Father who died in 1974. The deceased was coronated on 29th March, 1975.

In a statement signed by the Chairman Publicity, Protocol and Programmes subcommittee, Chief Abraham Tonjin, sympathizers are expected to assemble at the new Jos University Teaching Hospital Mortuary at 8am to convey his remains to his Palace in Lwa village.

Chief Tonjin added that the Funeral Service of the Royal Father will hold at Lwa Primary School Football Field and Internment is to hold at the palace in Lwa Bachi District.

Late Darwei Bwede Dangyang Tyop is survived by his Wife, Derwei Maryamu Bwede, 4 Children among who are Ngo Grace Antele Abdulsalam, Princess Dorothy Rose Aroloye, Hon. Mangai B. Dangyang and Pharm. Pam B. Dangyang.

He is also left behind 16 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grand Children, two Sisters and many relations.

The deceased was instrumental to the translation of the Holy Bible and Jesus Film into Berom.

His immense contribution to the unity, peace and development of his immediate community, Local Government and beyond will be missed.
