A Public Administrator, Associate Member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, former National President of the National Association of Ngas Students (NANGS) and a frontline Contestant for the Plateau State House of Assembly, Nenfot Gorip ANIPR on Wednesday 2nd February, 2022 widened his chances of winning the APC Primary Election and solidified his ambition as he visited Garram Traditional Council to seek royal blessings and counsel as he throws his hat to the political ring.

He commended the Traditional Rulers for the roles they are playing in fostering peace, unity and harmonious living in their domains which has continued to yield positive results by engendering growth and development of Kanke Local Government, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
He said though Traditional Rulers are not politicians, he was at the Palace with his supporters to seek royal blessings as he pursue his dream of representing Kanke Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

His Royal Highness, Nde Jika Golit who was flanked by other Village Heads appreciated him for the idea of visiting the Traditional Council as he starts the political journey. The Traditional Council commended him for being the first to visit them to declare his political ambition for the State Assembly.
He urged all those contesting to be diplomatic, decorous and objective in their campaigns while focusing on addressing the need of the people if elected.

Nenfot who visited Garram (his immediate Ward) and Kangrit Wards to interface with the Party Executives lauded their efforts in boosting the popularity of the party in their respective Wards, Local Government, State and Nation at large.
He said he will work closely with them to deliver dividends of democracy to the people if given the mandate.
He further stressed that he will provide effective representation and ensure the voices of the people are heard.
He said his concentration will be on sponsoring bills that will have direct impact on the people; improve the health, agricultural and educational sectors as well as give greater attention to youths and women empowerment.

The Federal Ward Chairman, Woman and Youth Leader amongst others in their separate remarks commended the Aspirant for his commitment and dedication to the party and wished him the best as he pursue his ambition.
