One way to lose your confidence in life and unable to attract the winning life is to lose the consciousness of a predetermined life. That is, not being able to know what you are working towards and the unique abilities God has endowed in you.

Therefore, as a people, let us be focused and determined believing that we are uniquely designed, shaped and equipped to perform and contribute positively to the development of our dear nation.

We have in us great gifts, enormous energies, multidimensional talents and capabilities to change the narratives obtainable in our society and turnaround its fortunes.

Gibok believe in men and women who believe in transformational leadership to prompt peace, stable security, good governance, equity and economic development for a greater Jos South LGA.

My mission is building bridge of unity, hope and human understanding among the various stakeholders. To promote good governance and empowering the less privileged and inculcating in them special abilities to cope with the growing challenges of our time.

Mr. Emmanuel Solomon Dung, popularly known as Gibok born 27th April, 1978 in Gyel District Jos South LGA, Plateau State is happily married to Mrs. Chundung Emmanuel Solomon and are blessed with 7 lovely children.

He had his First School Leaving Certificate in 1992 and National Examination Council (NECO) in 2013.

Blueprint:

1. Peace and Security: To guarantee security, we shall involve dialogue to resolve conflicts and ensure justice and equity and emphasis on respect for one another’s culture and religion to achieve peace and harmonious living. We will encourage community participation in peace building and intelligence gathering.

2. RURAL INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT:
we shall embark on road construction and other critical infrastructural development across all Wards and Districts in the Local Government Area. Emphasis will be given to feeder roads for easy economic activities from rural to urban areas.

3. PROMPT PAYMENT OF COUNTERPART FUNDS:
We will ensure counterpart funds to World Bank, UNDP, WHO, SMEDAN, NDE etc are promptly paid to attract services from them.

4. CONSTRUCTION OF MARKETS:
We shall construct markets and lock up shops in all our districts. This is aimed at promoting economic activities in across the Local Government Area which in turn will jerk up our internally generated revenue (IGR).

5. EDUCATION:
Education shall be a cardinal focus in our administration if given the mandate. We will build more classes to provide conducive learning environment and renovate existing ones. Incentives will be given to teachers to boost their morales which in turn will enhance high productivity.
Teachers will be trained and retrained to meet up with current global education needs.

6. RURAL ELECTRICIFICATION:
Our rural population will be given serious attention in terms of electrification. I have started that in my District already.

7. SOCIAL WELFARE SCHEME:
We shall come up with a social welfare scheme that will provide financial assistance to the people. This is a deliberate step towards reducing poverty.

8. AGRICULTURE:
We will invest in agriculture to harness our full agricultural potentials. We will provide farming inputs to our people at subsidized rates to enhance greater yield and promote food sufficiency and security. We will provide soft loans to farmers to encourage commercial farming.

9. HEALTHCARE SERVICES:
We will build new healthcare facilities, renovate existing ones and equip them for greater health care delivery.

10. TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONS:
We will meet regularly with traditional leaders to know the needs and challenges of the people with the aim of addressing them. Their welfare will be guaranteed without compromising same to enhance their efficiencies.

11. PROMPT PAYMENTS OF SALARIES:
Our government will give proper attention to employees’ welfare by ensuring prompt payment of salaries and other entitlements.

12. EMPLOYMENT:
Our administration shall give greater attention to employment and making sure that the people are gainfully engaged to be useful to themselves and add value to the society. We will work strategically towards reducing unemployment and poverty rates in Jos South LGA.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD HIS PHILANTHROPIC ACHIEVEMENTS include:

* As an Evangelist, Emmanuel Solomon Dung, Gibok has made tremendous financial contributions to different denominational Churches both in Jos south and Neighboring LGAs including Muslim communities.

*An advocate of community services development, he have made contributions and assisted community developments association,these among many others are: GCDA, BYM, BECO, BEWDA and NUBES.etc.

*As a supporter and defender of government projects in his immediate society he has personally helped in repairs of PHCN transformers in Gyel were he came from on several occasions.

* Gibok has by the Grace of God assisted many Youths to gain employment at different places of work including his personal company.

* As an advocate, promoter and supporter of education, he has by the Grace of God given over 200 scholarships to
deserving students in Jos South LGA.

* As a promoter of agriculture and commercial activities, Gibok has assisted in the construction and reconstruction of Bridges linking the following villages from his personal resources:

a. Tanchol/Dabwam
b.Tahei/Gyero
c.Nyago/Lioh
d.Sot/Sabon Gida is on the way.

*A man that believed in transformation of the common people. He has assisted and empowered Widows,Orphans and the less privileged across all ethnic, religious, tribal, racial and political groups.

* He has always assist peasant farmers with fertilizer in every raining season.

GIBOK did these with no intention to contest any political position, but the people and Heaven x-rayed his achievements, and I had to heed the call from my constituency to present myself as a vehicle for these public responsibility.

GIBOK as he is fondly called is the CEO/MD of Corinthians FC and CEO/MD Emma Dung Solo Enterprises.

GIBOK a philanthropist tried, tested and trusted has the following out of the numerous awards given to him in recognition of his selfless service to God and humanity.

*Financial Merit award by Nigerian Educators presented under the seal of (IEE)in recognition of his humanitarian gesture and financial contributions.

* Merit award as Ambassador of Peace and Security by National Union of Berom Students (NUBES).

*Award of Excellence as the Humanitarian and a Peace Builder by NAPSS,NVRI VOM,NURSES AND MIDWIFE both VOM & JOS.in recognition of his support and contributions to the students.

* Prestigious Merit Award of excellence as a grassroot leader and mobilizer of youths.

* Merit award as the most courageous youths by Youths, PLASU.

* Award of Excellence of “MWAT GYEP VWEL”

* Merit Award as Ambassador of Peace and Security by National Union of Berom Students (NUBES) 2014.

These are some of the numerous awards received by this great and amiable Philanthropist called GIBOK.

His passion and drive is to see that the common man is positively impacted, empowered and their capacities built as well as transforming Jos South LGA to address the infrastructural deficits obtainable so as to promote greater socioeconomic activities. Past and administrations have tried and trying, but Jos South as one of the metropolitan city in Plateau State deserves the best and with God on our side, your supports and prayers we will achieve greatness and take Jos South to enviable height and it’s rightful place.

Our goal is simple, which is transforming the people by intentional, deliberate and conscious empowerment and bringing infrastructural development to the Local Government to boost economic activities and make the Local government more attractive to both existing and prospective investors.

We will employ strategic methodologies toward revenue generation and ensure integrity, transparency and prudency in the utilization of public funds. We intend to run a corrupt-free administrative system in Jos South by putting in place measures that will stem misappropriation and misapplication of public funds kept in trust in our custody.

We will invest greatly in the people, agriculture, education, tourism, peace-building and in the economy of Jos South. We want to achieve astronomical growth within our tenure and set standards for successive governments to maintain.

Gibok seeks to manage both the huge human and material resources available in Jos South LGA towards attainable sustainable growth and development of the area. Jos South LGA is blessed with intellectual persons and material resources which is properly harnessed will lead to its prosperity. The resources (human and material) must be deliberately and consciously galvanized.
