Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Usman has condemned in totality the terrorist killing of Doctor Nandi Drenkat a lecturer with the University of Jos at his Residence in Jos.
Usman described Muhammadu Sani a Hunter as a hero who paid the supreme price to bring the criminals to justice. .

The Council Chairman made his position known in a statement by his Senior Information Officer Philip Eplong.
He expressed deep sadness over the unfortunate development which he said is a dark spot in the effort to engender peace and unity in the area.

Usman said the killings are a double jeopardy as they happened when Government at all levels are battling with the issue of COVID 19 pandemic.
He called on security agencies to do everything possible to bring the perpetrators to book.

Usman consoled the University of Jos Community, the family over the sad loss of the renowned scholar and the Hunter Muhammadu Sani and urged the families to have faith in God whose comfort and judgement is everlasting.

The Chairman enjoined citizens of Jos North Local Government Area not to despair, saying Government at all levels are ever determined to crush and defeat criminals who take advantage of the Lockdown to perpetrate evil acts.

Usman thanked the citizens of Jos North for their cooperation so far and urge them to remain indoors.
The Chairman sued for further cooperation with the Government which he said is in the best interest of all the people of state###.
