It’s time for a people’s alternative – DM Longgul

Dakwom Longgul share his opinion on sundry issues, see below .

Friends, I decided I was not going to be active on social media and took up the bold step to log out on watzup and Facebook. Why? Because Am worried about information and narrative on these platforms to my sense of reasoning as a person. My condolence to the many families affected by the killings, your government indeed has failed u again, the Nigerian ruling class introduced tribe and religion including geo-political zones for maintaining and sustaining power, now in our lifetime advocates of such primitive ideas cannot stop the hate in the verb. Fellow masses and Nigerian middle class, don’t be blind, it’s their strategies because they want to sell religion in 2023 and beyond, they have lack ideas on what to tell us again, yesterday we have not seen the water, or the light, or the jobs or the assurance of security and I beg to add, nothing will change. I refuse to join the narratives of prayers to our leaders or prayer for the country, my position is first HEAVEN HELP THOSE WHO HELPED THEMSELVES! Period!!! Stand and make sure you are mentally liberated to pursue the cause of patriotism, be armed -your PVC first, no to business politicians, and yes to people’s leadership base on the principle of a welfare state. Fellow youth, the future is not any better if our idea about leadership will also not change, the political education of the ruling class called the get rich quick is dominating our thinking faculties and we have all sold our conscience to money, ultimately I beg to ask, HOW MUCH IS MONEY? can’t we all understand that even as political appendages we are only social media influencers mobilized to play to the gallery of the ruling class yet we claim we have a stake when we cannot afford to pick a councillorship nomination from which the business politician tagged at 500,000, tell me when u cannot afford to buy good food how can u afford a nomination form at that amount? You see our first target is the cost of politics in Nigeria, it marks our first point of struggle because as Aminu Kano will say, “unless the son of a nobody becomes somebody without knowing anybody ” this country will not be great.
Fellow youth, I also want you to remember that we lost our sense of ideology, today we believe in everything and nothing. Tell me what you can die for if need be? certainly, we all are supporters of the ruling ideas of our lord and masters but check your state of consciousness, listen to our leaders as they talk about democracy and capitalism as though they understood the principles of what constitutes a capitalist economy – has privatization of government schools, hospitals, houses, and other assets helped to develop any sector in Nigeria since 1999? But I often hear with particular example to Gov.Lalong saying ” we are in the era of empowerment and not employment” pay close attention to our business politicians and you will hear these lines, you can imagine how the government has used SME’s to loot, creating false data of how many youths are empowered but we can’t see the result in our economy. Because charity begins at home I will throw the challenge for citizens to cross-check the data in PLASMIDA you will see lofty data of million youth empowerment but decide if it’s true. Again, I see that the state is making a frantic effort to loot the covid 19 recovery funds from the world bank and allocated them to different states, time shell tell.
If you are still reading this, it means you care about this country, and as I said earlier, I will not pray but take action, because am tired of the killings in Irigwe communities, and Fulani communities and in the cities metropolitan roads but I understand why it’s happening so I want us to take it from the roots, we are better living in the rainbow community that isolated tribe but no, our differences are a technology for acquiring power. It may interest you to know that there will soon be elections in Jos North and Bassa and the many killings and attacks are carefully staged to raise anger so the idea of the ruling class would be sold through their agents, watch out and see.
My story of lamentation will never end because I know that you my reader know what am saying is not being politically correct but it’s about my conscience because those who die fighting with the sword of conscience leave behind the double edge sword in the hands of the cherubim of posterity. Let rise and take action it is time for the people’s Alternative to leadership. Reader, it’s about leadership, let’s mourn our fellow human beings killed but don’t be angry to see the handwriting on the wall
Comradely, always
