The Member representing Langtang North Central at the Plateau State House of Assembly has cleared the air on his alleged arrest by security personnel in the House of Assembly Complex.

He said the clarification to his Constituents became imperative considering the rumours on various social media platforms that he was arrested and taken to an unknown destination during the sitting of the House which held on Monday 1st November, 2021.

He disclosed that the information on his alleged arrest is false, misleading and malicious which is aimed at misinforming his Constituents and the general public.

“I wish to inform my beloved constituents that I was not arrested. I was only conveyed out of the premises of PLHA in security car based on our resolutions with Security personnel”

He also carpeted certain Members of the State House of Assembly who announced the illegal suspension of Six (6) Members including himself.

While speaking to this medium, the Lawmaker disclosed that Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu remains the legitimate Speaker of the Plateau State House.

“I wish to also inform you that the announcement of my suspension was also illegal and laughable. By God’s grace, it will be over”

“We shall continue to stand against illegality” the Legislator concluded.
