The Member representing Langtang North Central in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Nanbol Listick on Friday 10th December, 2021 received his 30th Award from All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) Plateau State Chapter as the “Best Education Friendly Member, House of Assembly Plateau State”

The Award was presented to the Lawmaker at the Maiden Edition of the Dinner/Award Night of ANCOPSS Plateau State Chapter which held at Millennium International Event Centre Jos.
The event with the theme “Conquering Stress in School Administration” was well attended by School Administrators, Zonal/Area Education Directors, stakeholders in the education sector and top government functionaries.

In his remarks, Hon. Listick appreciated ANCOPSS for the Award and said it will make him to do more in the education sector and other sectors through infrastructural development, sound and people oriented legislation.

President of ANCOPSS Plateau State, Mr. James Dimlong appreciated all critical stakeholders for their contributions to education. He said the Award Recipient were carefully chosen on account of their impacts to education.

Other Recipients were: Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Wapmuk Plateau State Commissioner of Secondary Education, Dr. Simon Mwadkwon Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Plateau State, Hon. Dayyabu Garga Executive Chairman Kanam LGC, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency Plateau State, Mr Gabriel Kenabe Dewan, Mrs Mary Gowok former Area Director Pankshin LGA, Mrs Clara Maina Principal Government Secondary School Longkat, Mrs. Suzanna Danap and Mrs Dorcas Pam the Principal Government Secondary School Hwak Kuru.

The event also featured performance by the “Asha Ruwa Dancers” who thrilled the guests with their cultural dance.
