Information reaching Viewpoint Nigeria has it that the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong had dissolved the State Executive Council.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Acting Secretary to the Government of the State, Mr. Richard D. Tokma, mni and made available to Viewpoint Nigeria.

The statement also said others dissolved are Special Advisers, Legislative Liaisons, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Chairmen/Members of Commissions, Boards and Parastatals.

The statement however exempted statutory commissions specified in the constitution.

The statement also added that the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice is to remain in Office pending the reconstitution of the State Executive Council.

Gov. Lalong in the statement appreciated the appointees for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.
