The Gamai traditional council decorated the Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency as the Barden Gamai. Traditional rites was perform by HRH the Long Gamai at the annual festival of Arts and Culture tagged Bit. Gamai

The RT. Hon Yusuf Babayo Gagdi who also chair’s the occasion donated the sum of 10 million naira for the who is who in Gamai compendium project.

The title bestowed on Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi will add to his other titles such as Dan Malikin Kanam, Dan Majen Jhar amongst others..

VPN gathered that the Rt Hon Gagdi has remained committed to the cause of serving the people and also seeks re- elections in 2023. However, Gagdi is described by many a cosmopolitan legislator that Plateau had in recent history.

While speaking at the event, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi described the Gamai people as hospital and peaceful as exhibited in their son, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong.

The event which drew the creme de la creme of the state and beyond was in honour of the popular Gamai annual cultural festival tagged Bit Gamai.

Special guests at the event include Governor Simon Bako Lalong, Speaker House of Representatives, APC gubernatorial candidate in the state, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, members of the National and state House of Assembly, captains of industry, members of the state Executive Council, local government chairmen, party leaders and traditional rulers.
