“Expect Robust Legislation, I am Fully Prepared to Deliver” – Hon. Dantong

The Newly sworn-in Member representing Riyom Constituency at the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Dantong has promised his Constituents and the good people of Plateau State of robust legislative engagements.

Hon. Dantong also disclosed that he will provide credible leadership and run an all-inclusive governance.

He went further to say he is well prepared and equipped over the years having served as Legislative Aide at the National Assembly and Aide to the former Governor of Plateau State, his Excellency Sen. Jonah Jonah.

Hon. Dantong made the disclosures at the reception of his inauguration today at Dadin Kowa Youth Centre Jos.

“I will be engaged in robust consultations on things that are best for the people that will engender peace, unity and development in my Constituency and State at large” he said.

The New Legislator thanked the people for the mandate accorded him from the Primaries to the main election saying he will justify the trust and confidence reposed on him with credible representation.

The New Lawmaker promised to consolidate on the gains of his predecessors and ensure he attract development to his constituency.

PDP Chairman Riyom LGA, Hon. Davou Baget commended the people for believing in the party and giving it the much needed supports. He said the party will continue to produce credible candidates as it has done in the past who will win elections for it.

Rev. Dr. David Pofi admonished the member to make God the center of all his plans as he has always done.
He eulogized the leadership qualities the New Legislator has been demonstrating since he met him. He charged the people to continue to pray for him not to fail and correct him where necessary.

Da Rwang Dantong who spoke on behalf of the family thanked the people for finding Hon. Timothy Dantong worthy to represent them. He said putting God first and consulting with the people will make the Lawmaker excel.

Wife to the Legislator, Mrs. Rahila Dantong urged the people to continue to lend their prayers to the member so as to perform creditably well. She thanked and appreciated the people for coming to celebrating with them saying the victory is for all.

Hon. Ngo Mary Dang, Mr. Shuaibu Abubakar, Hon. Ngo Josephine Piyo, Da Samuel Danbwarang etc commended Hon. Timothy Dantong for his humility and doggedness saying he has shown great capacity to lead even in the face of the challenges the Local Government is facing. They said considering the challenges he faced, his victory is an attestation that it was ordain by God.

Father of the Member, Da Dantong thanked the people for the sacrifices and said he is optimistic the Lawmaker will not disappoint them. He said the Lawmaker is God-fearing and has been well-disciplined.
