The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), London continues to grow, both spiritually, numerically and otherwise. Set in the quiet neighbourhood of Wallflower lane, Acton, West London, the church started in mid 2013 with a handful of members, and has since grown beyond the capacity of its current place of worship.

In typical COCIN tradition, the Church on 8th June 2014, celebrated “Pentecostal Sunday” –marking the descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles. This event also coincided with the celebration of the goodness/faithfulness of God over its new found worship venue. Previously, the church fellowshiped at the cosy pastoral abode in Acton (near Shepherd’s bush), but the surge in brethren has meant that the venue has become too cosy for fellowship and therefore the need to get a larger worship venue.

The sermon at the event was delivered by the Pioneer Servant of the Church, Rev. Kefas Tang’an, he x-rayed the story of the widow of Nain in Luke 7:11. And encouraged members to be confident in the fact that God is their cover in all life’s pursuits. Saying, whatever life throws at them, the mercy, faithfulness, and promises of God are sure.

Furthermore, he went on to admonish that since we are living in a society and a day and age where God is almost relegated to the background, we should remain resolute in our faith and that an experience with God’s presence would make all the difference. Saying, when your world encounters his Word, the Word changes your world.

The church has benefited from the favour of God in the area of growth since its commencement in mid 2013 and the move to a larger venue is a testament that God shall continue to water his vineyard.

The new venue is located at:

         Acton Centre,

         High Street, Acton

         London, W3 6NE

Service normally commences at approx. 4pm. If you require further information, please leave a message at the bottom of this article with a phone number and you shall be contacted.
