The Organizers of the Plateau Social Media Award have announce the commencement of nomination of candidates for the 2022 edition, 4.0. In a statement issued by the technical committee for this year’s edition Chaired by Dr Daniel Meshak and Davidson Malison as Secretary, the organizers have provided a link through which members of the public can begin nomination of persons they feel are worthy of any of the category of awards.

The technical committee has been mandated to oversee the voting process, and have finalized plans on the voting procedures and wish to announce to the public that the timeline for the selection process is as follows

Nomination of candidates – 27th Jan – 6 Feb 2022

Collation – 7th -12th Feb,2022

Voting – 14th Feb- 12th March,2022

Final Collation- 26th March -2nd April,2022

Announcement of Winners- 3rd April 2022

The statement however noted that all Nominees must be persons who have done incredibly well in their areas of endeavors and acumen, adding that the technical committee reserved the right to vet any person nominated for the recognition with a view of ensuring that it is done in tandem with the established norms of merit.

By this notice, the statement encourages people to, without any hesitation, commence the nomination in order to enable the committee collate and identify those that will be qualified to the voting stage.

The statement stressed that as a way of displaying patriotism,the information about nomination should be shared and circulated by all and sundry, to as many platforms as possible to enable it reach everyone so that they can exercise their ‘franchise’
