Appeal Court Ruling: Gov. Mutfwang Positive of Victory at Supreme Court, Urge Citizens to Remain Calm and be Peaceful

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has expressed confidence and optimism of emerging victorious at the Supreme Court of Nigeria following the nullification of the election that produced him as Governor of Plateau State by the Court of Appeal on Sunday 19th November, 2023.
Gov. Mutfwang who was in company of the PDP State Chairman Hon. Chris Hassan, Sen. Simon Mwadkwon and others illustrious Sons and Daughters of the State appreciated the Citizens of the State, other Nigerians within and beyond the Country for their prayers, unalloyed supports, standing with them as well as showing interest in what is happening in the State since they assumed Office to pilot the affairs of the State on 29th May, 2023.


He made these known shortly after his arrival to the State at Yakubu Gowon Airport Jos, Plateau State where he was received by mammoth crowd who were at hand to show solidarity and identify with him.
“We began this project with God on our side and I want to assure you that God is still with us and by His grace Plateau People will smile and rejoice. We bear no grudge against anyone and we are confident in the judiciary despite all that has happened we are confident that God who controls the hearts of Men is going to ensure that finally the thing that would bring joy to the People of Plateau State is done” he said.
He admonished the people to remain steadfast in prayers and avoid evil thoughts against anyone. He said there is need to be more united against those who want to dismember Plateau State and are not comfortable with its unity.


“I am proud and excited that you have made me your Leader, I am proud of all Plateau People. I urge us to remain united and peaceful. Every journey from bondage to freedom has in it hiccup. There are many hurdles you must cross and whatever we have experienced so far is a temporary hurdle and by the grace of God we will reach the promise Land” he concluded.

At hand to receive the Governor were the Deputy Governor of the State Ngo Josephine Piyo, Speaker of the Plateau State House or Assembly Rt. Hon. Dewan Gabriel, Secretary to the Government of the State Arc. Samuel Jatau, Party Executives, Government Appointees, top Government functionaries, party supporters and we’ll wishers across the State.
