Alfred Dapal Damiyal, Saddened by the death of Engr. Danat & Satu Jatau

Mr. Alfred Dapal has expressed shock and deep sadness over the tragic death of two notable sons of Mwaghavul land Engr. Lawrence Danat, the immediate past chairman of Mangu Local Government and Chief Satu Jatau one of the PDP contestants for the position of Governor during the recent primaries.

Mr. Dapal in a statement with “sober reflection” calls on the immediate families, the Mwaghavul traditional council, and indeed the entire Mangu Local Government to take heart and accept his deepest condolences, noting that the duo had contributed immensely to nation-building, made their marks and fulfilled their purpose.

Mr. Dapal further admonished “everyone” to be prepared for death and live lives worthy of God’s ultimate purpose because death comes stealthily without expectation.

He prays that the families will have the strength to bear the tragic loss. He described the death of the duo as one tragedy too many and that Plateau state will miss their vision for a better future.
