Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has emphasized the imperative of greater collaboration among citizens to cultivate a lasting atmosphere of peace and unity, essential for the state’s prosperity.
Governor Mutfwang delivered this message during a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, organized by member representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Asama Ago at ECWA Gospel 1, Federal Secretariat, Jos.
Encouraging Plateau residents to adopt a lifestyle of gratitude to attract divine favor, the Governor stressed the need to align with God’s principles for a fulfilling expression of thanksgiving.
“We are committed to identifying and empowering the youth who represent the future of Plateau State. Through proper training and support, we aim to nurture a capable generation of leaders,” Governor Mutfwang remarked.
He commended Hon. Daniel Asama and Sen. Pam Dachungyang, on their election, pointing out that their victory was based on a platform that transcended political affiliations, termed the ‘Plateau People’s Party.’
The Governor expressed gratitude to the electorate for their discernment in choosing capable representatives, Governor Mutfwang urged elected officials to serve with integrity and selflessness by prioritizing the welfare of their constituencies and the State.
Governor Mutfwang called for unity among National Assembly members from Plateau, urging them to prioritize initiatives such as the dualization of the Akwanga to Jos road, which is vital for enhanced security and economic growth.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to transformative governance, and pledged to foster unity, create an enabling environment for economic participation, and improve living standards across the State.
Former Governors, Sen. Joshua Dariye and Sen. Simon Lalong, alongside Senator Pam Dachungyang and a representative of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, represented by member representing Mangu/Bokkos constituency thanked God for being behind Hon. Daniel Asama Ago’s election.
