BEING A PRESS TEXT BY FORUM OF PAST, PRESENT, YOUTH AND STUDENT LEADERS ON THE PLATEAU HELD AT CONFERENCE HALL OF GOLDEN BITES SUITES JOS. ON THE 27 DECEMBER, 2023.

Gentleman of the fourth Estate of the realm,
Ladies and gentlemen, Good morning.
This press conference is significant to the growth of our dear state. And Clarification on the faceless group Called UNIFIED ALMALGAMATED APC SUPPORT GROUPS (UAASG) Which only exist in their imagination, calling on the inuguration of the new members of the state house of Assembly.

Dear faceless Engr Goyit Nanam James and one Hajiya Fatima Binta Aliyu we trust this message meet you well.

In alignment with your commitment to the smooth functioning of the 10th Plateau State House of Assembly legislative session.

We wish to emphasize the Paramount importance of adhering to due process.

We congratulate the new members been which will form part of touchbearers for our collective aspirations are encouraged to exhibit patience and trust in the established democratic procedure.

While urgency is vital, navigating through the necessary steps in reconvening will not only uphold the principle of democracy but also reinforce the integrity of our legislative processes.

It is crucial to recognized that the recess as outlined in the procedural framework, serves as a critical elements for fostering effective governance.

We are confident the workerholic and ever indefatigable Rt. Honourable Ambassador Gabriel kudangbena Dewan Hon speaker pleateu state house of Assembly a stalwart known for his unwavering and unflinching commitment to integrity will continue to carefully consider in the best interest of the state on this matter.

Hence we therefore “PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE” on the leadership of the house lead by the amiable Rt Hon Gabriel Dewan for stabilizing the house as visibly seen and felt within the short period as Presiding Speaker of the 10th Assembly in achieving tremendous accomplishment and fostering positive legislative activities in the state.

Therefore we call on the new prospective members to patiently wait for the house to reconvene and everything is set in motion and trust the process just as they have waited and trust the court to do the right thing and as lawmakers in the state we enjoined you to do same.

More so to the new members, your patience and trust in the process are integral to the strength of our democratic foundation as you all wait for your inuguration and possible Retreat for further acquaintance with the intricacies of the legislative framework in ensuring well prepared responsibilities ahead.

Finally we condemned in it’s totality the Christmas Eve and Christmas day heinous attacks in different communities of Mangu, Bokkos and Barkin ladi local government of the state. This barbaric attacks and dastardly act which left hundreds of lives lost and property destroyed and members of the affected communities displaced from their ancestrol homes and is most regratable and unfortunate as it comes at the time when Government is doing it’s possible best in making sure normalcy is restored.

It is regratable that this is coming in the wake of the Christmas celebration which is the season for show of love, peace, and unity.we therefore called for more proactive measure and greater vigilance by people at all times.
