Sunday Garba Biggs, a frontline gubernatorial aspirant for All Progressive Congress in Plateau state, has been described as the best amongst the rest by a support group known as the Plateau Unity Forum for Sunday Biggs (PUFFSB).
This was made known as the support group obtained and presented a Gubernatorial expression of interest/ nomination forms to Sunday Garba Biggs, Today at the Mangu NUT Hall, Plateau State.
The leader of the support group, Architect Jonathan Mancha while presenting the forms, said the gesture was due to the overall acceptance of Biggs candidature by the generality of Plateau people. He stated that taking a rundown of all the candidates, it was clear that Sunday Biggs was the better option as he has vast experience having served under three different Past Governors including the current state Governor, which has given him a clear advantage in understanding Governance.
Architect Mancha further stated that the state needs someone with the knowledge like that of Biggs as such to be given the opportunity to be the next chief servant of the State. He said that was why the group has taken the burden to purchase the forms after assisting in gathering the funds which were cumbersome.
Sunday Garba Biggs while responding after receiving the forms, appreciated the group and all who believed in his capacity to be elected come 2023 as the Governor of Plateau State.
“I am highly elated and very happy to have been presented with one of the major ingredients required in fulfillment of our aspirations. For a group of people to think it wise to take up the burden of getting a form for me, I am quite reassured that our victory is just by the corner.”
“The Bigg Things Comming Movement is not about me or any other individual but it is about group work, because we believe at this point Plateau deserves a youthful leadership, and the youths are rallying round to see that this victory is settled.” Sunday Biggs further stated.
Biggs further debunked the rumor that he was been sponsored by Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong aside from the support from his group. He said that at the age of 54, he has come of age to make decisions on his own, with the youths who he believes are solidly behind him.
The group earlier visited the palace of the paramount traditional ruler, the Mishkam Mwagavul, and was received by the President Mangu Traditional council, HRH Charles Mato Dakat, the Sum Pyem, and prayers were offered for Sunday Biggs and his team.
The formal presentation of the Gubernatorial expression of interest/ nomination forms to Sunday Garba Biggs at the Mangu NUT Hall also witnessed the presentation of campaign vehicles, funds and other campaign materials by individuals and supporters to the Bigg things coming campaign.
