A top Gubernatorial Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Business Mogul and Philanthropist, Chief Kefas Ropshik has said securing the State and ensuring it becomes prosperity will be his top priority if elected Governor.

He made this known when he visited the State Secretariat of the Party at Yakubu Gowon Way Jos, Plateau State to hint the State Executives of his intention to run for the Governorship having procured and submitted the form for the position and subsequently been screened and cleared by the Party.

According to the reputable Philanthropist, his vision is geared toward harnessing the abundant human and natural resources in the State for economic and human capital development with the mission to change the fortune of the State from being a civil service State into an industrial and commercial hub for North Central geopolitical Zone.

He said his agenda will revolve around putting up measures to improve security, agriculture, mining, tourism, human capital development and infrastructural development.

He stated that the State has no reason to be depending on the federal subvention for survival instead it will be raising enough finances to be self sufficient considering its enormous endowment.

The business mogul disclosed that he is in the race to secure the future of the State and ensure that the people have a State they are proud of.
He said it is important to make the State viable economically by providing the enabling environment for business to thrive and for the people to become financially empowered.
He promised to create jobs and wealth; bring onboard professionals and Technocrats to grow the economy of the State.
He said the tourism potentials of the State must be harnessed to make it the best tourist Haven in the Country.

He said he will address the capital flight issue in the State by encouraging, supporting and patronizing local companies to execute projects.

“It is important for us as a people to work collectively for the future of Plateau State, we are all here because we are passionate about the future of the State and the task of achieving a secured, safer and prosperous State lies in right leadership”

“I am ready, willing and capable of providing that right leadership needed to grow the State” he concluded.

Receiving the Aspirant, the State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Chris Hassan flanked by other Executives of the Party appreciated the Aspirant and his teeming supporters for visiting to seek the support of the party.
He said a level playing ground will be provided for all Aspirants at all levels without any form of favoritism.
He said looking at the calibre of persons contesting for various positions in the Party, it is an attestation that the party is the best in the State and Nation.
He urged the Aspirant and his supporters to carry out their campaigns in decorum.
