Sarah Dagah Foundation founded by Ngo Sarah Dagah, the De Sele Jos has partnered with the National Union of Berom Students (NUBES) to provide leadership workshop to Berom Students to equip them and keep them abreast with leadership skills which will assist them in life and future leadership positions.
Speaking on the theme “developing students leadership capabilities in the 21st Century: The Role of NUBES as a Panacea for Leadership Grooming” the resource persons took the participants on issues that focused on building their capacity and how to be more effective in confronting the problems associated with leadership in the 21st Century.
Hon. John Baling, Zuriel Zang and Dung Hwyere who were Facilitators at the Workshop in their separate remarks hinted that the workshop was aimed at equipping the Students with what is required of them to face the daunting leadership challenges and make them more productive.
Some participants who could not hide their joy lauded the Foundation and NUBES for the gesture and said they will put what they learnt to use to make the society better.
Ngo Sarah Dagah who is the Deloh NUBES (Mother of NUBES) said she deemed it fit to partner with NUBES in order to train the youth and make them well prepared for the future.
She said what the youths need is proper mentorship in order for them to add value to the society and make significant impact. She urged them to put the lessons learnt to effective use and change the negative narratives obtainable in the society.
She urged the youths to discard lifestyles that are capable of destroying them and concentrate on issues that will transform the society.
The event held at Emerald Hotels Hall and was well attended by NUBES Leaders and other Berom Students. Participants were presented with certificates of participation at the end of the workshop.
