A University don and a former chairman Asuu Unijos branch, Comrade Chris Piwuna recieve a merit award from the National Body of Plateau State students Napss today 27/11/2021.The events held at Retna Events centre Sabon Barki, Jos.

While acknowledgeing the role student’s can play in correcting the misgovernance in Nigeria and Plateau State, the comrade says he is Dedicating the award to the embattled speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Abok Nuhu.

piwuna urged Rt. Hon Abok to remain steadfast in this moment. While stressing that “even if it is the governor that is suffering injustice, we must stand for and by him.”

Comrade Chris Piwuna who was recognized by plateau students as “National Icon of the year” appreciates plateau students for the recognition but advocates that students must be catalyst for positive change.

Furthermore,the comrade professor insist on the students to have zero tolerance for illegality and political Rascality going on the Plateau. comrade Piwuna also encouraged the Students to be defenders of democracy and free education.

For democracy is ours to nurture and not to destroy. All hands must be on deck.
