Plateau state Information Communication Technology Development Agency PICTDA had a parley with the Union of Tricycler plateau state chapter discussing way forward to tackle insecurity in the state.
According to the director general PICTDA David Daser he said “we had a parley with the Unions of Tricyclers at the instance of the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Muhammad Muhammad Abubakar.”

Mr. David Daser also said “the Government of Plateau State is looking at innovation that will solve the problem of insecurity using Technology i mean a new push towards a smart city and the transport sector is a critical sector of the economy and a lot can be unlocked through this partnership.”

Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Muhammad Muhammad Abubakar said the meeting with the Tricyclers union was necessary and timely to address the current security issues in the state that is why he inititiated the meeting.

The honourable commissioner further said businesses and development can only strive in a peaceful society.

The Chairman of Plateau state Tricyclers also appreciate the DG for the good initiative to ensure that modalities are put in place for Tricyclers to resume work and appreciate the Plateau state government and the captain of the rescue mission Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, for ensuring peaceful Plateau, he also assured the DG PICTDA of full support and cooperation.
